BMW K1200lt (1996-2009)

   The BMW K1200lt with 1171cc engine was essentially a 1996 K1200S engine tuned to favor torque over horsepower; it had Telelever front suspension and the Paralever shaft-drive system out back.
   The 2005 renewed K1200lt model offered with 16 more horsepower and a some improvements, including hydraulics capable of lifting a fully-loaded LT onto its centerstand with the push of a button, flat-screen dash display and improved trip computer.
