The BMW 600 was intended as a progression from the Isetta "bubble-car" with more power and a four-wheel configuration, which were planned to look like a "proper" entry-level economy car. The wheelbase was stretched to accommodate four passengers seats and a conventional rear axle had been added. The 600 was equipped with 585cc twin engine from the BMW R67 motorcycle, which can produce a top speed of 62mph.
