Yep, sometimes it's easy to lose your car on a parking lots, especially on multistaged ones. My friend once forget the name of the street where he park his car (there is a lot of tiny streets in downtown, you know). But this case that happened to one Scotsman the other day is a special one: he borrowed a bmw from his friend (scotsman too) to nicely drive up to a concert hall in Manchester. He park bmw in a City Centre car park, and then with pleasure had a walk to a Etihad Stadium. Of course, he forget to memorize a parking place or even a floor number.
After the show, scotsman got out the stadium and realized what he is absolutely forgot in what car park and building he left his car! By the way, there is no information, was he drunk or not... Anyway, after FIVE days of unsuccessful searches for a car in district and tons of calls to a Manchester city council and services of evacuation, scotsman and his friend (owner of bmw) finally decided to apply to the police for a loss of a car. This unlucky situation happened on august 2016. Eventually, on 30th december 2016, Manchester police department had give the new year gift to a silly scotsmans - they found a car! The BMW was still standing forgotten in the City Center car park. Now, happy conclusion of this ticklish situation can be darkened only by one thing: driving out in a car from car park can be done with fully paid parking ticket, and now imagine the sum for parking almost for a half a year!
