BMW F650 were the first single-cylinder motorcycles from BMW since the BMW R27 (1960), and were the first chain driven motorcycles from BMW (except for belt driven BMW F650CS).
F650 family includes eight modifications: F650 Funduro and F650ST Strada (produced in 1993-2001); F650GS and F650GS Dakar (2000-2007); F650CS Scarver; G650GS and G650GS Sertao off-road models (started in 2006); and F650CS.
