Few words & links:
BMW 6 series E24 luxury coupe is considered by many to be the one of the most aesthetically pleasing BMW of all time. The earliest produced E24 bodies being built at the Karman factory and shipped by train to BMW factory in Munich for assembly, and in 1977 E24 being built already in Munich.
The 6 series M cars were first introduced in 1984 and was available only in Europe. The US M6 version was produced in 1987 and was unveiled for North American market.
German tuning ateliers Alpina, Hartge, and Schintzer made high-performance modifications of E24 adding their own engine parts, wheels and interiors. The last E24 car was produced on April, 6, 1989.
